Automatic Bollard คือ ระบบเสากั้นอัตโนมัติที่ออกแบบมาเพื่อรับแรงชน และสามารถเคลื่อนตัวขึ้น-ลงได้เองอัตโนมัติด้วยระบบไฮดรอลิคหรือเครื่องกลไฟฟ้า โดยสามารถติดตั้งในพื้นที่สาธารณะเพื่อรักษาระยะห่างระหว่างอาคารที่สำคัญกับบริเวณจุดเสี่ยงที่อาจเกิดเหตุวินาศกรรม เช่น ธนาคาร สถานฑูต หรือ โบราณสถานที่สำคัญ หรือติดตั้งบริเวณจุดควบคุมการเข้า-ออกที่ต้องการระบบรักษาความปลอดภัยที่สูง เช่น จุดควบคุมการเข้า-ออก Control Post ในสนามบิน
Automatic Bollards are hydraulic or electromechanical vertical posts that can raise and lower automatically. Bollards provide protection from unwanted impacts, such as vehicle collisions or large forces that have potential to cause damage. It is used to create a protective perimeter for important buildings such as banks, embassy buildings or important historic sites. Bollards can also be used to guide traffic and block vehicle incursions for high security access points such as airport control posts.
